These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you ("you", "your" or "User") and GKCalculators ("GKCalculators", "we", "us" or "our") and govern your access to and use of the website at gkcalculators.com and all associated calculators, tools, content, application programming interfaces, embedded widgets and services (collectively, the "Service"). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service.

By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, which are incorporated by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.

1. Acceptance of these terms

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Service. By using any part of the Service, including any single calculator, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

  • “Content” means all text, calculators, formulas, results, explanations, charts, illustrations, images, data, software and other materials available on or through the Service.
  • “AI content” means explanations, interpretations, tips or other output generated by artificial-intelligence models in response to your inputs.
  • “Market data” means live or recent cryptocurrency, precious-metal (gold) and currency information displayed through the Service.
  • “User content” means any information you submit to us, such as messages sent through the contact form or by email.

3. Eligibility

The Service is intended for users who are at least the age of majority in their jurisdiction, or who use the Service under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. The Service is not directed to children under 13, and such children may not use it. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. The Service & licence to use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable licence to access and use the Service and its Content for your own personal, non-commercial informational purposes. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. This licence does not permit you to resell, republish or commercially exploit the Service or its Content except as expressly permitted by us in writing (for example, through an approved embed feature).

5. Accounts & registration

The Service is fully usable without an account. If you choose to create an optional account, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account or any other breach of security. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your credentials. You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us.

6. Acceptable use & prohibited conduct

You agree not to, and not to permit or enable any third party to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, harmful or abusive purpose, or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
  • Copy, scrape, harvest, data-mine, spider or otherwise systematically extract Content or data from the Service, or use automated means (bots, crawlers) to access it, except as expressly permitted or with our prior written consent.
  • Reproduce, duplicate, sell, resell, republish, distribute or commercially exploit any part of the Service or its Content without our prior written permission.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity, performance or security of the Service, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any systems, networks or data.
  • Introduce viruses, malware, or other malicious or harmful code, or place an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure.
  • Circumvent, disable or interfere with security-related features, rate limits, or features that restrict use or copying of Content.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any part of the Service, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by law.
  • Remove, obscure or alter any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notices.
  • Use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden or impair it, or that infringes or misappropriates the rights of others.

7. Informational purposes only — not professional advice

All calculators, results, AI content, charts and other Content are provided for general informational and educational purposes only. They are not, and must not be relied upon as, a substitute for professional advice. In particular:

  • Financial, investment and tax tools (such as loan, mortgage, retirement, investment, paycheck and tax calculators) do not constitute financial, investment, accounting, tax or legal advice.
  • Health and fitness tools (such as BMI, body-composition, calorie and diet calculators) do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
  • Legal or compliance-related outputs do not constitute legal advice.

Results are estimates based on the inputs you provide and simplified, standard assumptions that may not reflect your full circumstances or current law, rates or market conditions. You should always verify any figure independently and consult a suitably qualified professional before making any decision. Any reliance you place on the Service or its Content is strictly at your own risk.

8. Live market data disclaimer

Market data, including cryptocurrency prices and charts, gold spot prices and currency exchange rates, is sourced from third parties, is provided for general information only, and is indicative and may be inaccurate, incomplete or delayed. It is not a quotation, offer, solicitation or recommendation to buy, sell or hold any asset, and it must not be used as the sole basis for any trading or investment decision. Markets are volatile and past performance is not indicative of future results. We do not guarantee the availability, timeliness or accuracy of any market data.

9. AI-generated content

Where the Service offers AI-generated explanations or tips, such content is produced automatically by third-party AI models based on the inputs you provide. AI content may contain errors, omissions or inaccuracies, may not be current, and should not be relied upon as professional advice. You are responsible for evaluating the accuracy and suitability of any AI content before relying on it. We make no representation that AI content is accurate, complete or fit for any particular purpose.

10. Content you submit to us

If you submit User content to us (for example, through the contact form or by email), you represent that you have the right to do so and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party or violate any law. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, reproduce and process that User content for the purpose of operating the Service, responding to you, and improving our calculators and features. Do not submit sensitive personal information or confidential information that you do not wish us to hold.

11. Intellectual property

The Service and all Content, including its design, layout, look and feel, branding, trademarks, logos, text, illustrations, images, graphics, compilations of data, and underlying software and source code, are owned by GKCalculators or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, database and other intellectual property laws. Except for the limited licence expressly granted in these Terms, nothing grants you any right, title or interest in the Service or its Content. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit any part of the Service or its Content without our prior written permission. "GKCalculators" and our logos are our trademarks and may not be used without permission.

11a. Cloning, reproduction & DMCA

The overall design, layout, page structure, content library, calculator explanations, guides, FAQs, generated illustrations, programmatic result pages and the compiled front-end and back-end code of GKCalculators are original works protected by copyright. You may not clone, mirror, republish, scrape, or create a substantially similar or derivative website, application or service from any part of the Service — whether manually or with the assistance of automated tools, crawlers, scrapers, machine-learning systems or artificial-intelligence models — without our prior written permission. This expressly includes using our pages or their output as training data or as a source to reproduce our look, feel, structure or content. Public mathematical formulas themselves are not claimed; our specific expression, presentation, wording, compilation and code are.

We actively monitor for infringing copies and reserve all rights and remedies available to us, including seeking injunctive relief, damages and the recovery of legal costs. If you believe content on GKCalculators infringes your copyright, or if you wish to report a site that has copied ours, send a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) — including your contact details, identification of the copyrighted work, the infringing URL, a good-faith statement, and your signature — to our contact address below. We will respond to valid notices and, where we are the rights-holder, will pursue takedowns with search engines, hosting providers and app stores against infringing clones. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

12. Embeds & API usage

Certain calculators may be made available for embedding on third-party websites where we expressly enable it. Any such embed is subject to these Terms and to any additional guidelines we provide. You may not modify, frame in a misleading way, or use embedded calculators or any programming interface in a manner that misrepresents their source, removes attribution, overloads our systems, or otherwise breaches these Terms. We may modify, rate-limit or discontinue embed and interface access at any time.

13. Advertising

The Service may display advertising, including advertising served by third parties such as Google. Advertisements and any offers, statements or content contained within them are the responsibility of the relevant advertiser. We do not endorse, and are not responsible for, the products, services or content of advertisers, and your dealings with advertisers are solely between you and them. Advertising and cookie practices are described further in our Privacy Policy.

14. Third-party data, services & links

The Service relies on third-party data providers and may contain links to, or content from, third-party websites and services. We do not control and are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, legality or content of any third-party service, and inclusion of a link or data source does not imply endorsement. Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and policies, and any dealings with them are at your own risk.

Our collection and use of information in connection with the Service is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy.

16. Availability & changes to the Service

We may add, change, suspend, limit or discontinue the Service or any feature, calculator or Content at any time, with or without notice. We do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times, uninterrupted, or error-free, and we may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability. We are not liable to you for any modification, suspension or discontinuation of the Service.

17. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE OR CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE, RELIABLE, COMPLETE, UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED, OR THAT THE SERVICE IS FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

18. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL GKCALCULATORS, ITS OPERATORS, OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, LICENSORS OR SUPPLIERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE, ANY CONTENT, ANY CALCULATION OR RESULT, ANY AI CONTENT, OR ANY THIRD-PARTY DATA OR SERVICES, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, AND WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE. TO THE EXTENT ANY LIABILITY CANNOT BE EXCLUDED, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED (USD 100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US TO USE THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU, AND NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.

19. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless GKCalculators and its operators, owners, employees, contractors and licensors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your use or misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any law or the rights of any third party, or any User content you submit.

20. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to all or part of the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, including if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, the licence granted to you will end and you must stop using the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification and governing law) will survive.

21. Governing law & dispute resolution

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Service (including non-contractual disputes) are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which GKCalculators operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and to the extent permitted by any mandatory consumer-protection laws of your place of residence. You agree that any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction in that location, unless applicable law grants you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts. Before commencing any formal proceedings, you agree to first contact us to seek an informal resolution.

22. General / miscellaneous

  • Entire agreement: these Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
  • Changes to these Terms: we may modify these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the “last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
  • Severability: if any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
  • No waiver: our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.
  • Assignment: you may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign them freely, including in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
  • Force majeure: we are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
  • Headings: section headings are for convenience only and have no legal effect.
